SponsorBlock is a separate project, and it has its own subreddit. I think posts about SponsorBlock should go there instead (unless it's about specifically ReVanced's interface with SponsorBlock).

Also, please don't try to create SponsorBlock segments on mobile. The timings should be frame perfect (See the SponsorBlock Guidelines). Downvote all segments that aren't.

Situation:

I have YouTube TV (base plan) which for some reason includes "NBA TV" as a "Primetime Channel" (useless but whatever). For some reason, when I select the "YOU" tab and view my History/Playlists, etc. For some reason - NBA TV shows up in the middle of the "YOU" page and there's no way to hide/remove it (see screenshot).

Any chance we can get an option of "HIDE PRIMETIME CHANNELS" in the YOU page?

When I plug my phone into my car (8.1 Uconnect) it'll play the audio, but it won't appear on the screen. If I try to skip the track using the buttons on my steering wheel, it swaps back over to my standard music app (I still load music onto my phone.) The normal, non-modded YT Music app works properly.

I have already gone into Android Auto settings and enabled dev mode and checked the box for unknown sources, but it still doesn't work properly.

I've tried this with the latest version of YT Music Revanced (7.03.52) as well as the latest version of Anddea YTMX (7.17.51).

Is this a known thing? Am I just missing some settings I need to change?

When I open ytrev it will show videos on homepage but they are playing just in black screen. I must switch to subscribe and then go back to home page. After that Avery video is playing without opening it. I tried to patch it once again but it's still the same. Is there any fix for that?

I have tried to install a patched Youtube APK onto my kids phone. It is under our Family Link group.

Youtube installs without issue, and upon opening it will immediately force close.

I have tried:

• Installed MicroG and added their account has been added to it.
• Enabled 3rd party Apps for their device (from within Family Link and on the phone)
• Creating the patch directly on their phone by also installing Revanced
• Creating the patch on my own phone then transferring to and installing on theirs
• Force Stop, clear data, reboot etc

Is there something else I can try here? I have it running on 3 other phone's here, but only this one is under parental control.

I am trying to patch a Tiktok APK but every time I try the app freezes and I get a pop up saying the app isn't responding. I click wait and let it sit for a while but it does not continue after I click wait. I've tried clearing app cache and force stopping but that doesn't work. when i open revanced youtube, it says i have no internet connection. I have tried uninstalling it and compiling it again, and that still doesnt work. Does anyone know how to fix this?

When I go to watch a movie, the video freezes and skips around. I've tried to solve this, but nothing has worked. I'm on version 19.20.34

I swear ... Now informative parts are being cut out. It's just a constant feed of "skipped" "skipped" "skipped"

Since applying the new 4.16.0 patches, my YouTube ReVanced claims to be playing at 1080p Premium bitrate on my tablet.

Sorry if this has been asked before but is this a bug or is it actually using the higher bitrate? Tbh I can't notice any difference but I'm curious if this is a bonus of the new default spoofing of Android VR that I saw mentioned in the patch changelog.

The new patches seem to have resolved the resolution randomly dropping to 480p so thanks a lot to the team either way :)

I was frustrated with the old Reddit app version, but didn't want ads. There are only APKM bundles for newer versions on APKMirror.

While officially only 2024.17.0, I managed to use a 2024.18.0 bundle to update, while the apk of the same version failed. I will try newer versions and report back what worked. The newest, 2024.42.0, had an error in ReVanced.

What I did:

If you get stuck or an error I recommend using ChatGPT. I don't know much about bundles and made it work

1. Download Apkm bundle (This is Reddit 2024.18.0)

2. Download Apktool M.

3. Enable 3 dots(top right) -> Settings -> Build & Decode -> Remove <property> (I got an error before I did this)

4. Find the APKM bundle (hamburger menu top left) -> Antisplit

5. Select INVERSION, then manually the rest (fastest way to select all) -> ANTISPLIT

6. Select Match original signature -> In the cogwheel to the right, select all versions and Save (Save to remember your choice for next time) -> OK -> OK

7. Patch the APK with ReVanced

8. Enjoy your apps without ads and bloat <3

From this guide I installed tiktok spoof sim , it works great however only to see the content from other countries. When I post or try to go live I get 0 views. I have also used a bought vpn but may have to try with a residential proxy from that country as vpn could shadowban you. Are there any people who succesfully managed to post in other countries and actually get views or go live?

So I patched X using revanced and logged in with my protected acc. So one of my friends said he sent a request but I don't see any request. Tried sending a dummy request using a burner acc but issue still remains. Repatched and logged in again but facing this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

I accidentally clicked the 7z app to open apk files with instead of the package manager. Now I cant update any of the apps in the revanced manager.
I cant find anywhere that this package manager is located so i cant undo the file association. I have nowhere to edit that setting.

Do anyone know what the name for the app is that I should look for that handles the software installation ? Its not showing up as any regular app as far as I can see.
