10 years ago I bought this set up and it has held up incredibly well. As you can see, it’s an old spice cup, an Edwin Jagger razor, the brush is silvertip badger (I can’t for the life of me remember from where. Fire something I think, geofatboy recommended them at that time) and decent soaps/blades. Always gives me a great shave and no bumps. Hate cream in a can as it always made my face feel “clogged”. All of this is still readily available besides the brush and fairly easy to obtain! Not pictured, but I also highly recommend the Merker slant bar!

My second 2 layer stand,i tried with this project to bring the beauty and simplicity of Japanese house's,dojo's,believes and traditions in this handmade Katana Holder. Made out of natural walnut each piece is unique because of the wood grain that can be lighter or darker.

Dyson made a mistake 12 year olds on YouTube know not to make and screwed metal screws directly into soft plastic on a high use part. Which then proceeded to break off after 3 months of use. To make it all worse customer service is absolutely terrible. They say the part is out of stock and it’s been like that for months now. Every time I call it’s another 2 weeks. They’ll offer a replacement unit. But I have to send this one in before getting the replacement resulting in being without a vacuum for who knows how long…. Why can’t they just send an advanced replacement and charge my card if I don’t return it like Apple. Totally unacceptable for a close to thousand dollar machine.

I'm intrigued by the ballpark pouch on SAXX underwear, but literally all underwear blogs/videos/Reddit posts are ENTIRELY about boxer briefs. I get it, they're the go-to for most, but I want a loose fit around my legs, all 8,000 pairs of boxer briefs I've tried ride/hug my legs.

Can anyone speak to their experience with the boxers and specifically the pouch? I feel like I'll either absolutely love it or hate it, and I don't want to buy a ~$30 pair just to learn they're not for me...

I need to find a reliable egg pan! I cook my family eggs a whole lot, and while I love my current ceramic pan the handle is not riveted in. I can tell this thing is going to fail within 6 months, but it came in a set of 3 non-stick ceramic pans so we got our money's worth from it.

I would prefer a carbon-steel pan, if thats possible because I know they last a while, but I don't know where to look or who is reliable. That said I am open to pretty much anything that I can get at least 2 years out of. I'm not afraid of high prices if its worth it!

All suggestions are welcome! I really appreciate it!

I got my hand on this oilskin jacket, it is a brand called Mountain Horse, and it looks like it was been taken care of for a while. But I think it is a BIFL kind of jacket if it can be fixed

The leather is really stiff and has a heavy leathery smell to it. I have other jackets but don't have smell like that.

So my question is

1. How can i clean it without ruining it? Dry cleaner said he wouldn't do it cause it would harm it
2. How to soften the leather afterwards?

I had been using a Seiko for the past 7/8 years and it stopped working. I had it looked at but they couldn’t fix it, so here I am.

I’m looking for something with a clean, minimalist look. I want something mechanical. Hand wound is more my thing but automatic is also fine if the hand wound isn’t an option (absolutely nothing that needs batteries, though). Leather straps because I have sensitive skin.

Time and date/day is all I need. No ugly chronographs, please.

Budget is $500 or lower. Should be serviceable at home with a bit of research.

13 yo niece has been diagnosed with Raynaud’s. Amazon basics and Costco wool socks still leave her feet like chunks of ice and are “fugly” in her opinion. I just want her to be able to concentrate in school without being distracted by her feet hurting.

This shirt is the best fitting most seasonally versatile & durable shirt I’ve ever owned. I got it 2nd hand a while back. I really want more in other colors. But I can’t find it anywhere.

Hi. I want to purchase a few victorinox knives to replace the 3 that i accumulated over the past decade. They all came highly rated but hugely disappointed. I see victorinox knives recommended here, and so i’m gonna try them.

I went on amazon (i’m in the US) and there are so many options. Which one do you recommend? I’m willing yo buy up to 5 different ones until i find the right one (dont get me wrong, i want to buy as few as possible. However i know this may take trial and error). So, please tell me which ones i should try first.

Also, is amazon US the right place to buy these, or is there a better source? Their store website?

I never clean shave with a razor, I always use an electric one with guards. I think the one I’ve had most recently is a Phillips Norelco but I was wondering if there is a better option.

One of the things it doesn’t do as great of a job with is body grooming, especially around the pubic region. I was wondering if you guys had a specific electric razor / trimmer that you recommend?

I'm looking to buy a puffer jacket for the Canadian winters. Right now, I have a Decathlon parka, and while it keeps me warm, I really don’t like how bulky it is. So, I’m hoping to find something lighter that can still keep me warm in -20°C and handle the snow.

A good warranty would be a bonus too. I’ve looked at a few different brands, but I’m not sure which one to go for. Any recommendations?

I heard Ikea Malm breaks down. Little to no reviews on Expand Furniture but it's 5x the price.

As my title states, I need a shop-vac. Not just any shop vac though. I need one that can handle my house which is full of kids and pets.

You might think this means I need a good shop-vac. The kind built to withstand such rigors. I assure I need more than what you are thinking. My kids and pets are godless heathens bent on chaos and destruction.

I need a shop-vac with warning labels. It needs to do what a firehose does with water but in reverse with air. I need it to tear holes in the space time continuum. I need whatever the use at CERN to vaccuum out the large hadron collider.

What I need should be so powerful that if a friend calls and says “I killed a man, we have to get rid of the body” I can say “don’t worry, I’ll bring my shop vac and we can just suck it up”. I need the kind of vacuum that I take out at parties and show to friends.

Can anyone help? Also budget is around $400.
